Job Description:

Join the Cardiac Telemetry/Step Down RN team at Aspirus Wausau Hospital for an engaging contract that offers a chance to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity cardiac unit. You'll be responsible for monitoring and managing patients recovering from procedures such as CABG, valve surgeries, and ablations, often working with patients experiencing arrhythmias, CHF, or post-procedure complications. This role involves float responsibilities across inpatient units, requiring adaptability and resilience. The 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM offer an excellent balance between work and personal time, while the 13-week assignment provides a valuable opportunity to hone your skills in a stimulating setting. Expect to utilize your strong cardiac experience, including recent EPIC charting, and stay prepared to handle complex cases involving medications like Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Nitro Drips.
