Job Description:

Join our team as an Outpatient Surgery Registered Nurse in Augusta, Georgia, where you'll be the key player in supporting intraoperative procedures across various specialties. This role involves circulating in the operating room for surgeries such as retina procedures, total hip/knees, hand surgery, breast oncology, breast reconstruction, ENT, lap chole, hernia repairs, and podiatry. You’ll work with a team in a setting boasting five rooms with an average daily census of 18 patients. Your responsibilities will include ensuring optimal patient flow, managing sterile fields, and collaborating closely with surgeons and anesthesiologists. The schedule features 8-hour day shifts in a flexible rotation, with some late finishes based on room turnover, and occasional overtime when rooms are finishing up. This assignment gives you a chance to gain experience in diverse surgical specialties within a well-equipped facility that uses Epic and Pyxis systems. A great fit for those with at least one year of circulator experience looking to develop versatility in outpatient settings.
