Job Description:

This ICU Registered Nurse position in Metairie offers an engaging opportunity to work with a high volume of patients equipped with impella and NxStage devices. Your role involves performing lab sticks, EKGs, line starts, and managing advanced equipment such as Alaris IV Pumps, CADD PCA pumps, Servo I ventilators, and Fresenius CRRT machines. You will float across all ICUs and may occasionally assist in the ED or PACU, providing critical support in various settings. Expect to work day shifts, with a mix of 12-hour days, in a fast-paced environment that requires adaptability and technical proficiency. Previous experience with Epic, as well as certifications in ACLS, BLS, and CPI, are essential. You'll be part of a team caring for patients who may require isolation precautions, so knowing your N95 mask size is beneficial. This role is ideal for someone ready to take on diverse challenges in a dynamic ICU setting.
