Job Description:

Join our team as a Registered Nurse working in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in New Orleans, Louisiana. This contract assignment involves 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, spanning 13 weeks, with a weekly commitment of 36 hours. You'll be responsible for caring for patients with diagnoses such as migraines, seizures, chest pain, spinal abscesses, MS, and upper respiratory infections, among others. The role requires long-term focus and adaptability, as you may be called upon to join emergency response teams during unforeseen events. Expect a busy night with an average census of 29 patients, including post-surgical and post-stroke care.
