Job Description:

Join our team as a PCU Registered Nurse in a specialized thoracic and vascular surgery unit. This role involves caring for post-operative patients immediately after surgery and upon transfer from the CVICU. You'll manage complex cases, including patients with multiple co-morbidities such as heart failure, renal disease, and diabetes. Your responsibilities include monitoring cardiac rhythms, managing chest tubes, administering blood products, and caring for surgical wounds. The schedule features 12-hour night shifts, giving you the chance to experience the city's vibrant night scene or enjoy some well-earned rest during the day. This assignment offers a unique opportunity to work with a variety of advanced procedures, including TAVR, CABG, valve repairs, and more, in a prestigious Magnet-recognized hospital setting.
