Job Description:

Join a specialized cardiac ICU team as a registered nurse on a 12-hour night shift. In this role, you'll be caring for post-open heart surgery patients, including those recovering from thoracotomies, esophagogastrectomies, and transcatheter aortic valve replacements. Your work will involve managing complex cardiac conditions, interpreting dysrhythmias, and utilizing advanced monitoring systems such as pulmonary artery lines and Swan-Ganz catheters. This assignment offers the chance to work with critical procedures like ECMO, IABP, and ventricular assist devices, providing an engaging environment for experienced cardiac nurses looking to deepen their expertise. The role is less about routine tasks and more about applying advanced skills to patients in a designated post-operative recovery setting.
