Job Description:

This travel assignment places you in a Level 1 Trauma ICU, where you'll be immersed in caring for critically ill adult and pediatric patients. Expect to handle complex cases such as trauma injuries, sepsis, stroke, ARDS, and MODS, with opportunities to learn and operate advanced equipment like CVPs, IABP, Impella, and ICP monitoring. Your role involves titrating drips for vasopressors, paralytics, sedatives, and antiarrhythmics, all while collaborating with a dedicated charge nurse and support staff including patient care techs and telemetry monitors. The schedule features 12-hour night shifts, and you'll be part of a fast-paced team that values critical thinking and a positive attitude.
