Job Description:

Join our team as a registered nurse in a 70-bed cardio thoracic unit, where you'll be essential in managing patients with diagnoses such as MI, CHF, A fib, COPD, and post-surgical cases like lung surgeries and esophagectomies. Your expertise in EKG interpretation and medication titration—mainly Cardizem and heparin—will be vital as you'll be titrating drips and troubleshooting equipment like Cpap, Bipap, and ventilators. You'll work 12-hour night shifts, with duties that include interpreting telemetry strips and supporting hypoxia management, in a setting that values skilled, independent nursing. This assignment promises a chance to hone your critical thinking skills while working in a specialized environment that balances autonomy with team support, including a charge nurse and house supervisor available 24/7.
