Job Description:

This travel contract involves working on the Adult Medical Specialty Unit as a Registered Nurse in a vibrant hospital setting. You'll be providing hands-on patient care in a 56-bed unit featuring private and semi-private rooms, managing a variety of acute medical conditions such as cellulitis, sepsis, dehydration, electrolyte imbalance, and more. The role includes performing procedures like central line management, tracheostomy care, and chest tube management. The shift consists of 12-hour day shifts, offering a balance of intensive work and ample downtime. You'll experience a team-oriented environment with a charge nurse on each shift and dedicated patient care techs supporting you. Expect to work every other weekend and participate in rotation across different acute care areas, with opportunities to utilize your EPIC skills and gain experience in fast-paced, level I trauma settings. This assignment provides a chance to sharpen your skills while exploring a celebrated healthcare facility.
