Job Description:

This surgical and trauma ICU travel assignment offers an engaging opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. You will be caring for postoperative patients recovering from vascular, thoracic, and abdominal surgeries, often managing line placements, CRRT, ECMO, and ventilator support. The role involves floating between SICU and TICU depending on census, with a focus on interpreting EKGs, performing bedside assessments, and providing critical support during complex cases. The ideal candidate will enjoy a mix of routine and challenging cases in a setting that values teamwork and flexibility, with a playful nod to your knack for deciphering EKGs in the night shift.

Location: Carmichael, California
Shift: 12-hour night shifts starting at 6:45 PM
