Job Description:

Join a reputable community hospital in Matthews, North Carolina, as a registered nurse specializing in Labor & Delivery/Postpartum care. This contract offers an engaging experience working with LDRP patients, including circulating C-sections, newborn care tasks such as heel sticks and NAS scoring, and lactation support. The role requires a minimum of two years' experience in LDRP or OB surgical tech work, and you'll be part of a dedicated team supporting GYN surgical and obstetric patients. Expect to work 12-hour night shifts, every other weekend, with a commitment to holiday coverage. You’ll collaborate with a well-rounded support team including CNAs, OB physicians, lactation consultants, and hospitalists, all while utilizing technology like EPIC EMR and GE fetal monitors. This assignment promises a lively and fulfilling environment, where you'll have the chance to make a tangible difference during a pivotal time for mothers and babies.
