Job Description:

Join this exciting labor and delivery RN contract in Fullerton, California, where you'll become an integral part of a bustling acute care hospital with 320 beds. As a labor and delivery nurse, you'll be responsible for performing sterile vaginal exams and triage assessments independently, working primarily night shifts with 12-hour overnight hours. This role offers a unique opportunity to handle first-timers and work within a team that values expertise and confidence. Expect to support a busy unit, potentially floating between mother-baby and L&D areas, while adhering to the required certifications including ACLS, BLS, AWHONN Advanced, and NRP. The schedule provides 36 hours per week over 13 weeks, with guaranteed hours and the flexibility to accommodate RTO requests at submission. Be prepared to work every other weekend, possibly exceeding this to meet unit demands, and enjoy the opportunity to make a meaningful difference during your shift.
