Job Description:

Join the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Advocate Children's Hospital in Oak Lawn for an engaging travel nursing opportunity. You'll be working in a 19-bed unit that cares for children with respiratory issues, congenital heart disease, hematology/oncology conditions, and post-op or trauma cases. As a float nurse, you'll help provide critical care coverage across multiple pediatric units including NICU and general pediatrics. The shift runs from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am, offering a chance to add some nighttime adventure to your portfolio. Be ready to assist with patient stabilization, medication administration, and collaborate with a dedicated team in a setting that values teamwork and friendliness. This role offers hands-on experience with PICU-specific equipment and technology like EPIC EMR, Alaris IV pumps, and Med sonic monitors, all while supporting a vibrant hospital environment full of teaching and trauma designations.
