Job Description:

Join our team as an RN in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at Advocate Children’s Hospital in Oak Lawn. This assignment offers the chance to work in a vibrant hospital setting with a focus on complex pediatric cases such as congenital heart disease, trauma, and post-operative recovery. Your role will involve providing specialized acute care to young patients during 12-hour night shifts, ensuring their safety and comfort while navigating technology like Epic EMR and PICU-specific equipment. The unit operates with a 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio, and support staff including CNAs and resource nurses help create a collaborative environment.
