Job Description:

This travel contract places you in a specialized Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CVICU), where you'll focus on advanced cardiac support and postoperative care for complex surgical patients. Expect to work 12-hour night shifts, covering a busy schedule that includes managing ventilated patients, arterial lines, central lines, and hemodynamic monitoring. The role offers a mix of technical procedures such as assisting with chest tube insertions, managing extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), and titrating vasoactive drips. You'll be part of a team that handles critical cardiac cases, from post-surgical recovery to managing multi-system organ failure. This assignment provides the chance to deepen your expertise in cardiac-critical procedures and develop your skills in a fast-paced hospital environment with an emphasis on collaboration and precision.
