Job Description:

Join a team providing respiratory therapy services to adult patients, NICU infants, and potentially pediatric patients in the emergency room, all within a fast-paced hospital setting. This role involves managing airway support devices, performing aerosol treatments, and assessing respiratory conditions across floors, ICUs, NICUs, and ERs. Travelers will work with a variety of ventilators and equipment, including BUBBLE CPAP, High Flow, Jet Ventilation, and more, contributing to critical patient care while assisting the supervising therapist or lead. The position offers the chance to apply extensive neonatal and adult ventilation expertise, including neonatal high-flow and jet ventilation, within a collaborative environment that values independence and teamwork.

Job Specifics:

Location: Alexandria, Virginia
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 AM, supervisor-managed schedule with no block scheduling
Duration: 13 weeks
Hourly Commitment: 36 hours per week
Weekly Gross Pay: approximately $1,980
