Job Description:

Join a dedicated team at the Rehabilitation Pavilion, located within Northport Medical Center, where you'll support stroke, hip fracture, and pulmonary patients on their path to recovery. This contract role involves providing comprehensive rehabilitation nursing services in a setting that combines hospital-level medical supervision with specialized therapy equipment. Expect to float between units and hospitals as needed, working 12-hour day shifts with a schedule of 36 hours per week over an active 13-week assignment. This is a chance to see firsthand the progress patients make on their journey to independence, all while utilizing advanced therapy tools like body weight support systems, treadmills, and reaction training devices. Bring your expertise to a vibrant rehab environment that emphasizes patient-centered recovery and interdisciplinary collaboration.
