Job Description:

This opportunity involves supporting surgical procedures as a sterile processing technician in an operating room setting. You will be responsible for applying aseptic principles to maintain a sterile environment, sterilizing and disinfecting surgical instruments, and ensuring that supplies and equipment are properly organized and functioning. Your role includes assisting with room turnover, preparing the operating room for upcoming surgeries, and participating in scrub duties, including instructing medical students and residents. The shift consists of 10-hour days, with a busy schedule that demands both technical proficiency and good judgment—so, a knack for keeping everything squeaky clean and running smoothly under tight time constraints is essential. This assignment offers a lively environment where attention to detail directly supports surgical teams and patient safety.

Location: Urbana, Illinois
Shift: 10 hour days, 7:00AM – 5:00PM
