Job Description:

Join a specialized respiratory and neuro diagnostics team on a 13-week assignment in Lansing, Michigan. This role involves working in a busy Short Term Acute Care facility, specifically in the ER and Adult ICU, focusing on critical respiratory procedures. You'll be performing airway management, medication administration, ventilator management, oxygen therapy, suctioning, pulmonary toileting, and using equipment such as the Servo I and Hamilton G5. Expect to work three 12-hour night shifts per week, providing essential diagnostic support in a fast-paced setting that requires two years of experience in respiratory therapy. This assignment offers the opportunity to be part of a magnet-recognized, teaching hospital with a Level 1 trauma designation. Flexibility is limited—float within scope isn’t permitted, and the role demands specific certifications, including state license, BCLS, ACLS, and CRTT. Experience with Epic charting and handling the hospital's respiratory equipment will help you thrive here.
