Job Description:

Join a renowned Level I trauma center in Springfield, Illinois, as an Operating Room (OR) Tech. This surgical services role offers a shift of 5 days per week, with 8-hour evening hours from 2:45 PM to 11:15 PM. You'll be essential in preparing surgical environments, setting up instruments and supplies, and supporting the surgical team during complex procedures including ENT, general, gynecology, neurosurgery, orthopedic, plastic, trauma, and urology cases. You'll work in a fast-paced setting that requires minimum 3 years of OR tech experience and familiarity with advanced surgical equipment and procedures. This assignment provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to a busy hospital that handles over 50 cases daily while honing your skills across a variety of surgical specialties. The role includes weekend obligations once a month, with flexibility to discuss schedule requests with the manager. Expect to be part of a team that values precision, teamwork, and skill, with floating support within scope to ensure seamless surgical operations.
