Job Description:

Join a highly specialized SICU team providing care for post-operative surgical recovery patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting. As a registered nurse, you will be responsible for managing complex cases, including patients undergoing CABG, valve replacements, aortic dissection repairs, and transplant recoveries such as liver, heart, lungs, kidney, and pancreas. Your role will involve working 12-hour day shifts, with potential for float to other ICUs and SDUs, and experience with Epic, PA catheters, and balloon pumps is preferred. Be prepared for the possibility of emergency team participation and relief responsibilities, with pay impacts communicated on an event basis. This assignment offers a unique opportunity to refine critical care skills while adapting to a dynamic environment that values flexibility and resilience.
