Job Description:

Join a high-acuity cardiology critical care unit at a renowned heart transplant center, where your expertise as an ICU Registered Nurse will be vital in managing complex cases such as cardiogenic shock, decompensated heart failure, and post-cardiac arrest scenarios. In this role, you'll care for patients with diagnoses ranging from STEMI and NSTEMI to pulmonary hypertension and pulmonary embolism, often working with specialized procedures like pacemaker placement, pericardial drains, and targeted temperature management. Expect to work night shifts on a 3x12 schedule, with occasional opportunities to pick up an extra shift, providing ample chance to gain diverse experiences while enjoying the vibrant city surroundings. This assignment may require quick adaptation, including being part of emergency response teams to maintain safety and care standards during urgent events. Your proficiency with equipment such as PA catheters, Impella, and CADD pumps will be essential in delivering exceptional patient care in this fast-paced environment.
