Job Description:

Join a specialized Progressive Care Unit (PCU) as a registered nurse, where you'll be managing a targeted patient ratio of 1:4, with allowances up to 1:5-6. This assignment involves working 36 or 48-hour shifts, focusing on patients requiring stable chronic ventilator support and cardiac monitoring, including EKG assessments. Prior EPIC experience, IV start skills, and certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and NIH are essential. Nurses will be fitted for N95 respirators before working on the HRRU unit unless PAPR is used. This role provides a chance to work in a fast-paced environment requiring adaptability, including floating between different campuses and units within the Premier Health system. Expect to work every other weekend and holiday, with some flexibility around low census periods. This assignment offers an engaging opportunity to deepen your critical care expertise in a supportive, community-oriented setting.
