Job Description:

Join a specialized SICU team in the vibrant city of New Orleans, where you'll be working as a registered nurse in a high-acuity environment. This contract offers 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts, providing a balanced schedule that allows time to explore the rich local culture. You'll be caring for post-operative surgical recovery patients, including those recovering from complex procedures like CABG, valve repairs, transplants, and more. Expect to be flexible, with float requirements to other ICUs and SDUs, and the possibility of participating in emergency response teams, which adds an element of unpredictability and excitement to your role. Epic experience with PA catheters and balloon pumps is preferred, and certifications like ACLS and BLS are required.
