Job Description:

Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Medical-Surgical/Telemetry & Stepdown units at Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. This contract offers 36 or 48-hour shift options, with the opportunity to work 48 hours per week over a 13 or 26-week duration. You’ll be caring for a diverse patient population, including neurological conditions such as strokes, aneurysms, seizures, and spinal surgeries, in a 48-bed unit equipped for long-term EEG monitoring. Expect to float within the scope of your role to various units within the hospital, including Neuro, Trauma, and Observation, providing vital support wherever needed. This is a fast-paced environment that demands experience with drips, EPIC charting, and large, urban hospital settings. First-time travelers are not accepted unless they have experience at a Level I Academic Medical Center. Prepare to work days and nights, including two major holidays, in a facility that values excellent staffing and high-quality patient care.
