Job Description:

Join a specialized team in the Cardiac Medical Intensive Care Unit at Mercy Hospital South, where you'll be providing critical nursing care to adult patients recovering from complex cardiac procedures and surgeries. This role involves managing patients with conditions such as arrhythmias, post-cardiac arrest, and respiratory issues like pneumonia or ARDS, often handling advanced equipment like Impella, IABP, and CRRT. You'll work 12-hour night shifts, offering a chance to experience a busy but rewarding environment, where your skills directly impact patient outcomes during some of the most intense moments of their recovery.
