Job Description:
This respiratory therapy contract places you in the heart of Vermont at Central Vermont Medical Center’s Respiratory Therapy Unit. You'll be responsible for managing ventilators, administering inhalation therapies, and operating advanced respiratory equipment like Hamilton C3 and T1 ventilators, V60 NIV, Airvo 2, and Bubble CPAP. This role requires working 12-hour night shifts, providing critical support to both ICU and emergency department patients across all age groups. It's a hands-on position that demands quick thinking and a knack for handling complex respiratory devices, often in collaboration with Pulmonary Critical Care physicians and hospitalists. If you enjoy a challenge and want to make a tangible difference in critical moments, this assignment offers a rewarding experience without the usual hospital hustle—just a focus on specialized respiratory care in a well-equipped setting.
