Job Description:

Join us as a Travel Med Surg RN in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, where you'll be stepping into a role that combines hands-on medical administration with remote telemonitoring. You'll provide essential care to general medical, post-operative, bariatric, and oncology patients in a 352-bed facility with a 21-bed Med Surg unit. This contract offers a balanced schedule with 12-hour day shifts from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., working every other weekend and EOH shifts. The position may require floating to Med Surg Tele, supporting a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6, with a surge capacity of 1:7. Your expertise in telemetry and recent Med Surg travel experience will be vital in managing patients effectively, including remote monitoring and post-operative care. From collaborating with monitor techs to providing compassionate patient care, this role ensures your skills are put to meaningful use in a supportive environment.
