Job Description:

Calling all Neuro ICU specialists! This 13-week travel contract in Wausau, Wisconsin offers a hands-on opportunity to work in an 8-bed Neuro unit, managing stroke, TBI, head injury, and Neurosurgery patients. You'll float between Neuro Critical Care and MSICU units, performing neuro assessments and bedside ICU procedures, including line placement, intubation, and bolt and drain placements. This role is perfect for experienced neuro clinicians who enjoy a mix of technical skill and quick thinking—think of it as a neuro adventure every shift. Guaranteed 48 hours per week, with optional on-call during low census periods, and a flexible shift of 12-hour days from 7 am to 7:30 pm. The focus here is on independent work, resilience, and adaptability, with an emphasis on assessment skills and familiarity with neuro-specific equipment like EVDs and ICP monitors.
