Job Description:

Join us as a Respiratory Care specialist on a 13-week travel contract in Urbana, Illinois, working 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. This role offers the chance to perform a wide range of respiratory therapy procedures, including equipment disassembly, cleaning, testing, and maintenance. You'll evaluate patient responses to respiratory treatments, assist with blood gas analyses, and ensure respiratory equipment operates safely and effectively. The position requires accurate documentation in the EMR, charting patient responses and equipment statuses, and communicating findings with physicians and team members. This assignment is ideal for those who enjoy hands-on work with respiratory equipment and direct involvement in patient care, all within a supportive hospital environment that emphasizes technical expertise and safety.
