Job Description:

Join us as a Registered Nurse in Wausau, Wisconsin, on a 13-week contract working 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. In this role, you'll float across all inpatient units within Aspirus Wausau Hospital, providing specialized care to adult patients with conditions such as respiratory illnesses, neurological disorders, gastrointestinal issues, and more. The assignment offers the chance to work in a Level II Trauma identified environment, handling a range of acute and chronic medical cases. Your responsibilities will include managing a varied patient load, completing detailed charting in EPIC, and collaborating with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This position is perfect for resilient, adaptable professionals who thrive in fast-paced settings and enjoy managing change with a positive attitude. Unlike standard shifts, you'll experience a unique opportunity to make a significant impact during overnight hours, including occasional on-call duties with compensable callbacks.
