Job Description:

Join our team as an ER RN in Honokaa, Hawaii, where you will be part of a fast-paced emergency department handling a wide range of medical emergencies. This role requires multitasking and the ability to work independently, utilizing equipment such as Meditech EMR, Life pack Defibrillators, Braun IV pumps, Philips Monitoring Systems, and Motorola Radio Systems. You’ll be responsible for managing stroke, STEMI, and trauma activations, all while maintaining core measures and patient safety standards. Candidates should bring over two years of experience, strong IV skills, and hold certifications including ACLS, PALS, TNCC, BLS, and NIHSS. Familiarity with the AIDET communication method and Press Ganey patient service expectations will help you succeed. This assignment offers a unique opportunity to experience Hawaii’s welcoming atmosphere while doing meaningful work in a vibrant ER setting.

Job Specifics:

Location: Honokaa, Hawaii
Shift: Variable - 8- or 12-hour shifts, scheduled 80 hours in a 2-week period, with at least one weekend off per roster. Manager will determine shifts upon arrival. One on-call shift per roster, with floating to other units/departments based on clinical abilities.
Duration: 15 weeks
Weekly Hours: Approximately 36 hours
