Job Description:

Join our team as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse on a 13-week travel contract at a prominent hospital in St. Louis. This role involves providing specialized care in a fast-paced neuro and medical-surgical unit, with a focus on patients experiencing neurological and neuromuscular conditions like stroke, MS, ALS, GBS, and epilepsy. You'll be working 12-hour night shifts, immersing yourself in procedures such as lumbar punctures, lumbar drains, Foley catheterizations, IV starts, G-tube placements, and tracheostomies, all while utilizing advanced equipment like bladder ultrasound. This assignment offers a unique opportunity to gain experience within a Level I Trauma facility, handling complex cases and procedures requiring precise skills. You'll work with a dedicated team, contributing to patient recovery while navigating a supportive hospital environment that emphasizes efficient collaboration and clinical expertise.
