Job Description:

Join a renowned short-term acute care facility in St. Louis as a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN) on a 12-hour day shift. In this role, you'll provide specialized care to adult and geriatric psychiatric patients, many with co-morbid medical conditions requiring a med-surg approach. Your day will involve medication administration, IV starts, blood glucose monitoring, Foley catheter care, and contributing to a calm milieu environment. You'll also have the opportunity to serve as a charge nurse when needed, working alongside a dedicated team in a magnet and teaching hospital setting. This assignment offers a unique chance to gain experience in a complex psychiatric population within a Level I trauma center, all while enjoying the stability of guaranteed hours over the course of 13 weeks.
