Job Description:

This travel healthcare contract offers an engaging opportunity to serve as a Registered Nurse in a Post-Clinical Unit (PCU). The role involves caring for trauma surgical patients and those in the abdominal transplant population within a high-volume, level 1 trauma center or a teaching hospital. The shift is a 12-hour night schedule, three nights a week, providing a chance to experience a fast-paced environment with complex patient needs. The ideal candidate will be familiar with wound care, fracture management, post-surgical procedures, traction, patient mobility, and managing drips like insulin and heparin. Certification in BLS, NIHSS, and ACLS is required, and local candidates within 100 miles are not accepted for this role.
