Job Description:

This travel assignment in Artesia, New Mexico offers an opportunity to work as a Physical Therapist in a variety of settings including outpatient, inpatient, and rehab units. The role involves performing comprehensive musculoskeletal assessments, developing personalized treatment plans, delivering skilled interventions, and monitoring patient progress. You’ll work primarily in hospital-based outpatient environments, with some potential shifts in inpatient rehab units. The schedule is a 40-hour week with variable shifts, allowing for a diverse clinical experience. This assignment is unique because you’ll be involved with patients across the lifespan, from juvenile to geriatrics, managing conditions such as total joint replacements, back, shoulder, and foot pain, as well as neurological conditions like TBI, stroke, and Parkinson’s. You will also have the chance to participate in the department’s module work prior to patient treatment, and there’s an opportunity to rotate into inpatient units if needed.
