Job Description:

This travel assignment places you on a 36-bed Intermediate Care Unit at a teaching hospital in High Point, North Carolina. You'll be managing patients primarily with stroke, heart failure, TIA, sepsis, and other general intermediate diagnoses. The role involves caring for patients with neuro issues, monitoring telemetry rhythms, and managing hemodynamic drips such as Cardizem, Heparin, and Insulin. Expect to handle activities like assessing neuro changes using NIHSS, performing general ADLs with CNA support, and documenting through the Encompass/EPIC EMR system. This unit is known for its strong leadership and cohesive team environment, making it an engaging place to contribute your expertise.
