Job Description:

This position calls for a highly experienced perfusionist to step into a fast-paced clinical setting, assisting with complex cardiac and ECMO procedures. You'll be independently managing ECMO cannulation across adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients, often in emergent situations requiring swift decision-making. The role involves operating advanced equipment such as Spectrum pumps, Terumo system 1, Quest MPS 2/3, and other specialized machines. Expect to participate in high-stakes surgeries within the CVOR, pedi CVOR, and Level 1 trauma units. Call responsibilities average about one day weekly and two weekends per contract, with shift hours from 6:30 am to 4:30 pm for four 10-hour days. This assignment is ideal for an expert who thrives in a dynamic environment and is comfortable handling a variety of perfusion challenges. Scrubs are provided, and the work environment will keep your skills sharp and your expertise in high demand.
