Job Description:

Join us as a Medical Laboratory Scientist specialized in Blood Banking for a rewarding contract opportunity in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This role involves performing advanced blood bank procedures such as blood typing, crossmatching, antibody identification, and managing emergent transfusions in a Level II Trauma Center setting. You’ll be responsible not only for accurately executing tests but also for maintaining and developing instrumentation, training laboratory staff, and ensuring the lab remains inspection-ready. Expect a role that combines technical mastery with leadership responsibilities, all while working evening or night shifts. Job Specifics:

Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana
Shift: 8-hour night shifts (10:30 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.), every other weekend rotation
Duration: 13 weeks, approximately 40 hours per week
