Job Description:

This travel contract offers a chance to work on a high-volume cardiac step-down unit in Wausau, Wisconsin. The role involves caring for patients recovering from cardiac surgeries, arrhythmias, heart failure, and other cardiovascular conditions. Expect to monitor post-op CABG and valve patients, manage pacers and defibrillators, and handle a variety of complex cases. The 12-hour day shifts provide an excellent opportunity to develop specialized skills in cardiac telemetry and intermediate cardiac care, with the flexibility to float across inpatient units as needed. This assignment is perfect for a resilient RN who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys managing change while ensuring excellent patient care experiences.
