Job Description:
This travel nursing role places you in a Level I Trauma teaching hospital renowned for its comprehensive trauma care and advanced facilities. You will primarily work 12-hour night shifts on a Med/Surg or Telemetry unit that handles a variety of complex patient conditions, including stroke, cardiac issues, respiratory illnesses, and trauma cases such as gunshot wounds and stab wounds. Expect to perform tasks such as cardiac rhythm interpretation, PIV starts, chest tube management, NG tube placements, and administration of critical medications through infusion pumps. You will be part of a team that supports ED holds, floating within the region as needed, and managing diverse patient needs in a fast-paced environment. This assignment offers a chance to sharpen your trauma and emergency experience while working with a skilled multidisciplinary team.
