Job Description:

Join a renowned Level I trauma acute care hospital in Springfield, Illinois, as an X-Ray Tech specializing in radiology and cardiology procedures. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to work the third shift, with three 12-hour nights per week (either 1830-0700 or 1900-0730), including every third weekend, on-call duties, and holiday requirements. You'll get hands-on experience with advanced imaging equipment like O-ARM, performing a variety of X-ray exams such as abdomen decubitus, chest routine, skull, extremities, and portable procedures—all while working within adult acute care, ER, ICU, NICU, and operating room environments. Expect to coordinate closely with a talented team to deliver precise diagnostic images that aid in critical patient care.
