Job Description:

Join the team at LewisGale Medical Center's Emergency Department in Salem, VA, for a rewarding travel assignment that puts your ER skills to the test in a busy, high-volume setting. You'll be working alongside a seasoned staff of nurses and medics, managing patient ratios of approximately 4 to 6 patients at a time. This role involves performing procedures such as RSI, sepsis interventions, stroke protocols including tPA administration, and central line placements. Expect to be part of a collaborative environment where your experience with high acuity cases and fast-paced workflows will shine. The shift structure includes daytime and nighttime staffing with varying staff levels, and there's no on-call requirement—just four weekend shifts over a four-week period. This assignment offers an engaging opportunity to utilize your ER expertise while enjoying the unique rhythm of Salem’s vibrant healthcare community.
