Job Description:

Join the team on 8S Oncology at Medical City Dallas, where you'll focus on providing specialized care for patients undergoing cancer treatments. This role involves working 12-hour day shifts in a unit with approximately 8-12 patients, handling blood and electrolyte replacements, and managing chemotherapy procedures using Baxter pumps. You'll work alongside a dedicated staff, including charge nurses, RNs, and PCTs, in a setting that demands both technical skill and compassionate approach. An opportunity to gain experience in hematology-oncology, bone marrow transplant, and neutropenic precautions makes this assignment both challenging and rewarding.
