Job Description:

Join our CVICU as a registered nurse in a specialized cardiovascular intensive care setting focused on advanced post-operative care for adult to geriatric patients. This role involves managing complex cardiac patients with devices such as LVADs, balloon pumps, and Swan catheters. You will monitor and titrate vasoactive medications, sedation, and support patients recovering from AAA repairs, often requiring close attention to hemodynamic stability and communication with a multidisciplinary team. Expect to carry 2 patients in a 10-bed unit with a dedicated charge nurse, working with a team that values precision, quick thinking, and effective communication. You will be part of daily rounds led by the intensivist, contributing to the high level of care in a fast-paced environment that expects professional expertise and a proactive approach.
