Job Description:

Join a dedicated team as a PCU Registered Nurse specializing in renal care at a prestigious tertiary hospital. In this role, you'll manage a variety of renal transplant patients with responsibilities including PD cath care, hemodialysis monitoring, wound management, and managing complex conditions like acute renal rejection and diabetes encephalopathy. Expect to work a 12-hour night shift in a 1:5 ratio environment, with occasional increases to 1:6 to accommodate patient needs. This assignment offers the chance to refine your skills in cardiac monitoring, IV therapy, and emergency response, including rapid response team activation and dysrhythmia management. While hemodialysis procedures are handled by dedicated dialysis staff, you'll oversee patient preparation and post-procedure care, ensuring optimal outcomes in a fast-paced setting. You'll also engage in surgical drain management, tracheostomy care, and IV access procedures, supporting a diverse spectrum of renal and neurological conditions.
