Job Description:

Join a high-energy cardiac telemetry unit as a Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment where you'll be the core of patient monitoring and care coordination. You'll manage a patient load of up to six cardiac patients, including those with arrhythmias, unstable angina, CHF, and post-interventional care, utilizing telemetry, IV starts, and cardiac drips like Cardizem, Dopamine, and Amiodarone. This role offers a fast-paced environment where you can put your experience with rapid turnovers to good use, working alongside a dedicated team led by an experienced team lead. You'll be expected to respond to on-call needs based on patient census and participate in every other weekend shifts. The unit houses both COVID-positive patients and those with stable post-procedure conditions, with the opportunity to titrate medications and utilize specialized equipment like BIPAP and Non-Rebreather masks. This assignment isn't just about work—it's about contributing to a vital cardiac and stroke care team in a setting that challenges and rewards your skills.
