Job Description:

Join our team for a pediatric behavioral health contract at a dedicated children's acute care hospital in St. Louis. As a Pediatric Behavioral Health RN, you will primarily work the night shift, staffing inpatient units and emergency space focused on pediatric mental health support. The role offers a fulfilling experience where you'll be responsible for providing compassionate care, managing de-escalation situations, and potentially serving as a 1:1 observer. The assignment involves a rotating schedule of three 12-hour night shifts per week, from 19:00 to 07:30, with the possibility of floating within scope to support unit needs. Your expertise in crisis intervention, restraints, and medication administration will be essential to ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for young patients. This unique setting combines the fast-paced challenge of acute care with the rewarding opportunity to impact children's lives during critical moments.
