Job Description:

Join our team as a Surgical Technologist specializing in open heart procedures at a renowned cardiac center. This contract role involves primary scrubbing in complex cardiothoracic surgeries, including CABG, valve repairs, aortic dissections, ECMO, VAD implants, and more. You will assist in a fast-paced environment with an average of 1-3 cases per day, working alongside skilled nurses and surgeons. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a level 1 trauma center that handles both adult and pediatric congenital open heart surgeries. Expect to support not only the scrub role but also help circulate and preceptor new staff outside of your primary duties, making this a comprehensive and engaging experience.
