Job Description:

This ICU contract offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced Level 1 trauma center, specializing in neuro and cardiovascular intensive care. You will be responsible for managing critically ill patients with complex conditions such as trauma, neuro-surgical cases, and cardiac emergencies. The role involves titrating a variety of drips including Propofol, fentanyl, Versed, and Vasopressors, interpreting telemetry strips, and collaborating with an in-house intensivist 24/7. The shifts are 12-hour nights, providing a chance to experience the vibrant pulse of the hospital during the quiet hours, while floating between multiple ICU units. This assignment is a great fit for experienced ICU nurses eager for diverse cases and a slightly playful challenge with skill validation and rapid-paced decision-making.
